Dyzner – A Secure Marketplace for Royalty Images

Overview

Dyzner is an innovative public web app designed to provide users with a seamless platform for purchasing and using royalty images. Unlike traditional image-sharing platforms, Dyzner ensures content creators receive fair compensation by requiring users to pay a royalty fee for image usage.

Built with Flask, this platform incorporates multiple payment gateways (debit/credit cards, UPI, PayPal) and a real-time chat system to enhance communication between buyers and sellers. While the project is still in development, its foundation sets the stage for a secure and efficient digital marketplace for royalty-free images.

Project Goals & Requirements

The goal of Dyzner was to develop a Pinterest-like image marketplace with a secure payment system and an interactive chat feature. Key objectives included:

Challenges & How I Overcame Them

During the development of Dyzner, we encountered several technical and implementation challenges:

• Accepting payments from various sources (cards, UPI, PayPal) required careful integration of different payment APIs.
• Solution: Conducted extensive research on payment providers and implemented secure API integrations for fast and encrypted transactions.

• Enabling direct buyer-seller communication without compromising data security was a key challenge.

• Handling high-resolution images, multiple transactions, and live chat required optimized performance.
